Asking for support is one of the most challenging steps in the recovery process. We often seek therapy in search of relief when our old ways of navigating stressors no longer serve us. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I provide individual therapy to adults in the state of California via telehealth. I specialize in addressing symptoms of anxiety, depression, unresolved trauma, and mood instability and work with clients to improve functioning in daily life.
My approach is individualized and eclectic, taking into account client needs and preferences. I draw from multiple modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and person-centered therapy.
My communication is calm, direct, and personable to create a curious, non-judgmental space. In our sessions, you can expect a balance between validation of emotional experiences and gentle challenging of self-limiting beliefs and behaviors.
