Coping with life as a teenager girl:
With the onset of social media and the experiences related to the pandemic, there has been a significant increase in adolescents struggling with more overall distress. The need for adaptive coping tools is even more necessary. We will use art, music, creative writing, and role play to help learn and practice reframing in order to challenge negative thinking and increase a sense of self. Groups will be held every Tuesday for 8 weeks at Cleveland Park Library meeting room. You will be charged for missed session if there is not a 24-hour notice. Consistency is important with group work.!
