Hilary Hampton, LCSW. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive space to help individuals feel empowered and open to looking within, practicing curiosity, openness, and building on innate strength. I focus on working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, self-esteem, trauma, PTSD, substance misuse and eating disorders. My approach is person-centered and trauma-informed practice focused through somatic therapy, compassion focused, internal family systems, DBT, narrative therapy and mindfulness.
I have experience working with adolescents, young adults, and adults. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, eating disorders, substance misuse, suicidal ideation and mood disorders.
I believe goals should be set by the client, letting each person know they are driving their therapy and building intentional next steps for themselves. In the first session I like to get to know my client, understanding why they are seeking therapy and fostering a connection that can act as a healthy foundation for the sessions to come!
