Common problems that bring people to therapy are such things as anxiety, depression, loss, relationship difficulties, life transitions and trauma. I use a psychodynamic approach to get an understanding of deeper issues that may underlie these present day problems. My perspective is informed by attachment and trauma focused models, based on the premise that events in one’s personal history can affect present day functioning. I will work with you to formulate a plan to change long standing problems with behaviors and negative perceptions, and to achieve a greater sense of well being.
