Often we come into the therapy relationship in pain, confused, and overwhelmed. I strive to create a safe, supportive, environment that focuses on easing the pain while developing greater self-awareness. I have a psychoanalytic perspective that provides the space to explore repetitive patterns, inner conflicts, and past experiences and relationships. In addition, I provide skills-based therapy for additional support. I mainly provide long-term therapy and often meet with clients multiple times a week as many clients find this useful.
I have a specialty in psychoanalytic therapy and am currently active in the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute. In addition, I utilize mindfulness therapies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy ( ACT) to provide skills for additional support. I have studied directly with Steven Hayes and Kelly Wilson.
My goal is to support clients in building a life that feels engaging, rewarding, and meaningful.
