When you meet with me, you will notice me listening attentively and empathically to both what you say and what you don’t say. Allowing you to tell your story and ask for what you need are important values in my practice. I provide a warm and compassionate atmosphere that encourages honesty and vulnerability. I am an LGBTQ+ welcoming, body positive, sex positive, and inclusive psychologist; my pronouns are she/her. I want to empower you to have the courage to explore your beliefs, make changes, and learn more about yourself. I offer a wide range of therapy services for teens and adults from eating disorders to gender identity issues.
I specialize in improving body image and changing disordered eating behaviors. Many of us feel uncomfortable in our bodies. Whether you have a diagnosed eating disorder or are caught in the trap of yo-yo dieting, challenging what you think you know about your body can be helpful. I utilize a "Health at Every Size" and "Intuitive Eating" approach in my work.
You are the expert on you. I listen. I ask questions. I help you find your strengths, identify your communication patterns, and explore where you are feeling stuck.
