First of all, I will talk to you like a PERSON. I offer a relaxed format where you don't need to censor yourself for my comfort.
Are you stuck? Can't find your way out? It can seem like you can't stop doing things that will hurt you in the long run. You find yourself saying, "This is just how I am." The story you believe about yourself- about what you deserve - is what will manifest. That narrative will run your life until you dismantle it, & rewrite it. If you aren't running it, it is running you. My approach is to help you figure out where you learned these things, & discard those that cause you pain & are no longer productive.
I am skilled at helping people who are sober curious/ in recovery without shaming them. I am a QSAP for DOT & can conduct the SAP assessments required by DOT. I've been EMDR trained since 2013, certified since 2019, and a CIT (consultant in training) since 2023- awaiting confirmation of approved consultant status. I am also a Yoga Teacher, & TCYM level 2.
I am one of the therapists, & owner of Hiatus Wellness, LLC. I am originally from Alabama, and moved here via Georgia. I have lived a lot of experiences, and am able to meet you in whatever situation you are in without judgement. I am a human first. I also see other counselors & professionals to work through trauma & compassion fatigue related to their work.

"Moving Through Pain"- Trauma Processing Group
This IN PERSON group is a trauma/ painful experiences processing group using IGTP (Integrative Group Treatment Protocol) model of EMDR, didactic work, & yoga for processing/ closing. Closed group- same people/ no new members joining mid-stream. Group is ideal for those who've done/ are doing individual counseling, & need focused trauma processing. WHEN: Starts Mon, June 21, 7p-8p. Group is weekly for a 6 week series. WHERE: Hiatus Wellness, 1205 HWY 123, Suite 204, San Marcos, TX. COST: $210/full series, or $40/ group FACILITATOR: Jenn Popovich, EMDR Certified, IGTP trained, TCYM, RYT.
