My name is Heudeliss (Eh-duh-lees) Placencio, MHC-LP. I’m a compassionate, culturally attuned mental health counselor with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University. As a queer, neurodivergent Dominican-American, I draw from my lived experiences to offer affirming, inclusive support. I work with many individuals including first-generation Hispanic Americans, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and neurodiverse clients, helping to navigate personal and professional growth, move beyond generational poverty, and build resilience, confidence, and deeper self-understanding.

I incorporate mindfulness-based practices informed by my yoga training to deepen body-mind awareness and promote holistic well-being. I support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, life adjustments, ADHD, ASD, and day-to-day stressors, offering a warm, culturally responsive space that encourages growth and resilience.
