Clients come to me with stress, sadness, anxiety, guilt, grief, shame, confusion, addiction, relationship issues and trauma. Clients often need help with processing overwhelming emotional experiences and getting back to a place where they can 'self-regulate' their own nervous systems during tough times. My work focuses on a somatic/body-centered, trauma informed, mindfulness-based approach. Clients who work with me find that the therapeutic relationship serves as a resource for getting where they want to be in their lives. With therapeutic support, difficult experiences help guide us to our innate wisdom, strength and resilience.
Clients that I work with want to experience transformations in their lives. In therapy they discover new ways of seeing themselves and their struggles and new ways of finding a sense of connection. I work to to create a safe and compassionate space for my clients to explore their experiences with authenticity and non-judgment.
At some point we all face the same hard truth -We have been impacted by the struggles we've been through- Our struggles have made us who we are, we can only begin to heal together.
