I'm originally from Honduras and have been in the U.S. since I was 11 years old. I've been in the mental health field for over 10 years and I'm passionate about helping individuals in their healing journey. I have extensive experience working in addiction medicine and treating various mental health issues such as anxiety and depression. I enjoy working with clients who are wanting to explore themselves and heal parts of themselves that need healing.
My therapeutic approach is primarily Narrative therapy, however I also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral tooIs in treatment. I focus on client's strengths and use mindfulness tools to help clients create space between themselves and the problem. I strive to create a safe and nurturing environment for my clients to be able to be their authentic selves.
Growing up, I experienced various traumatic events in my life which eventually led me on my own personal inward journey of healing. I'm grateful to have had a lot of guides and teachers along my journey whom made a big impact in my life. Now, I’m grateful to have the opportunity to the same for others.
