At Henkel Counseling and Consulting, PLLC, our mission is to partner with our clients to deepen their care and understanding of themselves; the whole person, body, mind and soul, so they can do life healthier and happier with those they love. Jessica Henkel earned her undergraduate degree from Elon University, and went on to the University of Maryland, Baltimore, for her Masters in Clinical Social Work. Jessica has over twenty years experience working in a variety of clinical settings. Jessica works with children (12+), adolescents and adults.
Jessica believes that while everyone can benefit from therapy, not every therapist is the right fit for every person. To address the questions of, "Is this therapist a good fit for me?", feel free to request a free 15 minute phone consultation.
Jessica has received intensive training and supervision through the International OCD Foundation utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). Jessica was also trained in Level 2 EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy).
