My name is Chris Colijn and I'm an LPC currently working out of Imagine Recovery Counseling in Gahanna, Ohio. I have experience working with trauma, addiction, depression, and anxiety. I identify as a Christian and I have a passion for working with people who are struggling with spiritual abuse and trauma. My perspective on counseling is that everyone has the ability to heal and to change; counseling is about finding the pathway to positive change that fits you best.
I work with a wide variety of clients including Neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ and have a strong focus on making a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.
I practice a range of evidence-based practices such as CBT and EMDR, and I am continually seeking additional trainings to further broaden my clinical skills. I believe that you are the expert on you and my role is to make use of the clinical skills I have to help you find the best path to healing.
