Hemi (she/her) is passionate about working with families and couples to connect with each other, while helping individuals learn about themselves and helping them feel grounded in their identity. She works with single parents, teenagers, and children as young as 4 years old. She offers positive parenting skill building to help parents connect more with their children, and builds greater empathy, trust, and respect. She offers you and your family a safe space to heal and reconnect.
Hemi holds a Masters Degree in clinical social work from Howard University, a Bachelors Degree in Psychology, and has over 5 years of clinical experience working in trauma and psychosis. Her therapeutic approach is person centered, strength-based, and gender affirming and culturally sensitive.
