Dr. Helena Dow is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a 2006 graduate of California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP), where she obtained a doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Dr. Dow is additionally a graduate of San Diego State University, where she obtained a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2000 and a Master of Arts equivalent degree in Multicultural Educational counseling, CBB program, in 2017. Dr. Dow is also certified in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) with an emphasis on couples therapy, as well as in chemical dependency. Dr.
Dow fosters a respectful, caring, and supportive therapeutic environment in her work that endeavors to treat the whole self. Dr. Dow provides individual, couple, and family therapy to children and adults of various age groups and backgrounds using a systems approach, while also borrowing from other therapeutic modalities.
She works collaboratively with her clients to develop customized and impactful treatment plans and modalities tailored to fulfil their unique needs. Dr.
