Hi! I’m Helen and I work primarily with women feeling overwhelmed by experiences that have left them frozen and numb, running from goodness, or fighting against self-destructive thoughts and behaviors. Holding space for your pain and burdens, I am a compassionate listener and tailor the use of interventions and techniques to your specific needs. As a Christian, I often integrate the hope and healing of a gospel-centered approach with therapy. Wherever you may be in your own personal journey - I am ready to meet you there.
I provide mental health counseling services via telehealth in Alabama, Missouri, Louisiana, and Florida. My focus includes trauma, addiction, eating disorders and OCD. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP-I) and have specific training and experience in EMDR, IFS, CBT and DBT approaches.
