Hi there, I’m Helen. As a therapist, I would like to start our journey by earnestly getting to know you. I want to hear your story. I’m looking to build a genuine connection because I value our time together. I'm here for the deep thinkers, the folks who think a million thoughts at once, and those who need to take their time getting there. I will use encouragement, advocacy, compassion, validation, a solution-focused approach, and sense of humor as my guiding qualities in our work together.

My areas of specialty are trauma, aging, complex family systems, parenting support, ADHD, chronic pain/illness, attachment, anxiety, grief, and anger management. The primary modalities I use are EMDR, IFS, Narrative Therapy, ACT, DBT, and Solution-focused Therapy. I'm not a purist so I like to mix and match to meet your unique needs!

I truly enjoy being a comrade, advocate, sounding-board, insight-giver, and emotional explorer with my clients. I try to find balance between being nurturing and warm but also being straight forward and honest with you.
