I agree with Rogers, who believes that when a person experiences unconditional acceptance and empathic understanding from someone who is genuine and real, healing and growth occur. My style is generated from various humanistic psychotherapies with an interest in the mind/body/spirit interrelation, combined with a grounding in classical theories.
I use Gestalt and IFS as wonderful tools in therapy. Both therapies are powerful ways to heal and intergrate conflicts and stuck areas in our internal being. They both can go deep, while at the same time always letting the client be in charge of what feels safe and right.
I passionately believe to best serve others, therapists must ongoingly examine their own internal world with intention of improving honesty, integrity, presence, compassion. I am deeply committed to this, and to my clients best interests. Also, since I believe in the importance of a good match between therapist and client, I offer a free consultation.
