Hi, I am Heidy Salguero, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about helping my clients face life challenges through compassion, education, and empowerment. My therapeutic approach is client centered. I will meet you where you are and together build an alliance to help you meet your goals. My licensure as a clinical social worker and my extensive experience in various clinical settings have prepared me for a wide range of mental health challenges. My most used theoretical approaches are Person-Centered Therapy, Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Mindfulness Therapy.
I always knew I wanted to work in a helping profession, but it wasn't until early adulthood that I witnessed how much the life of a person can change through therapy. This awakened a passion in me to pursue a career as a therapist and help others experience growth and empowerment too.
I am here today because I believe in a person's ability to heal despite the life challenges encountered. During our initial therapy appointment, I would like to get to know you in more depth, complete an initial assessment, and design treatment goals.
