I have provided extensive psychotherapy working with clients of varying ages, backgrounds, and diagnosis’. My experience as a psychotherapist includes community, private, and non-profit settings. I received my Master’s of Professional Counseling degree from Ottawa University, a faith-based University. I am a Licensed Associate Counselor, certified in Trauma, Abuse and Deprivation, a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and trained in EMDR Therapy.
Treatment plans are tailored to the specific needs of the client, and are evidence based, person-centered, and collaborative. Primary treatment approaches are Solution-focused Narrative Therapy (SFNT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement and Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR).
My love of helping clients drives the mindful intent of this practice. Clients are treated as a whole person, using an integrative mind-body-spirit approach. My therapeutic approach is purpose driven and solution focused.
