Maybe you overthink, over-function, care for everyone else, or know where your struggles come from but still can’t seem to change them. I’m Heidi Patcheak, LMFT, and I help children, teens, and adults slow down, understand what is happening beneath the surface, and create new ways of relating to themselves and others. I offer in-person therapy in Costa Mesa and telehealth throughout California, including play therapy for children.

I help clients understand the patterns beneath anxiety, depression, grief, disconnection, and relationship struggles. With children, I use play therapy to help them express and process what they may not yet have words for. With teens and adults I offer warm, relational therapy that supports insight, emotional awareness, and meaningful change.

You don’t have to figure it out alone. Therapy can be a place to slow down, feel less stuck, and understand the patterns that keep repeating.
