My practice centers on the needs of transgender, non-binary, lesbian, gay, bisexual and other LGBTQ+ spectrum community members and their friends and family. I have experience working with individuals, couples, and groups.
My experience in therapy often focuses on the lived experiences of trauma and how our past experiences affect our present. I work with clients to develop new ways to communicate to express their needs to set effective boundaries in interpersonal relationships.
I believe that the process of therapy is one of collaboration between a therapist and client to determine ways to overcome past and present difficulties to lead a more fulfilling life. I desire to create a space where people can feel safe to be themselves so that they can be empowered to live richer, fuller lives outside my office.
