I specialize in anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, postpartum depression, parent guidance work, couple issues, and parental difficulties with adult children. With children and adolescents I treat anxiety, depression, behavioral and self esteem issues, ADHD and chronic illness. I routinely collaborate with your child's teacher to help maximize progress.
Taking the first step in obtaining help is often the hardest part. You will find my style is active, patient, and client centered. My clients often tell me they have a "gut feeling" in their first session they will feel comfortable working together. Therapy is a joint undertaking in which therapist and client work together to identify solutions.
