Hello! My name is Heidi McKinley and I am a licensed clinical professional counselor and counselor educator and supervisor. I am passionate about counseling and truly enjoy working with clients who desire change in their lives but may feel scared, ambivalent, stuck or confused. Every person, couple, and family has a unique story with varied experiences and struggles. I value human connection and relationship and believe there so much power in each that can help facilitate that desired change.
I approach my counseling work from holistic and systemic perspectives. I believe humans are complex and influenced significantly by environment, physical health, emotional health, trauma, and attachment with others. I believe in a collaborative approach and value consultation with other health professionals when the need is there.
My hope is to provide the space to empower you through compassion and understanding.
