Whether you're navigating grief, burnout from caring for someone else, a diagnosis that landed differently than expected, or a life chapter that just doesn't fit the way it used to - I work with adults and older adults who are ready to stop pushing through and start actually processing. I specialize in women's issues and life transitions, caregiver fatigue, depression, sobriety, domestic violence recovery, and supporting adults on the autism spectrum, including those newly diagnosed later in life. Evenings and weekends available.
I'm Heidi - an LCSW with 30 years in the field, including two decades in the criminal justice system and crisis response in emergency departments. I've seen what people carry and what they survive. My approach blends evidence-based methods - CBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing - with honesty, occasional humor, and zero pretense.
