About
"It is my priority to offer a welcoming and safe space for each and every client. If you are struggling with an eating disorder, anxiety, depression, low self- esteem, a life transition or are having difficulty with relationships, stress and worry, coping with a loss, or feeling stuck and unsure how to move forward, I would like to assist you. I am an experienced clinical therapist working collaboratively with clients to find solutions to problems allowing them to move forward and lead a more fulfilling life. My therapeutic style is warm, empathetic, strengths based and informative while being goal oriented."
I have extensive training and experience in working with eating disorders including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, athletes and eating disorders, ARFID, and body image disturbances. I also have a passion working with women on women's issues, anxiety, depression, OCD, relationships, family conflict, parenting, grief/loss, and life transitions/adjustments.
I am trained in CBT; motivational interviewing; solution focused therapy; DBT; EFT/Tapping, and ACT models of therapy. I have found these modalities to be very effective in the clients I work with, along with some holistic approaches, embodying mind, body, and spirit. Treatment approaches are tailored to the client needs during the therapeutic process.
