I began counseling in 1996. I have experience working with adolescents, adults and young adults, couples, family difficulties, groups, women's issues, cultural issues (adjustment/re-adjustment), mood disorders, emotion and anger management, anxiety and stress, grief and loss, sexual and emotional abuse, ADHD, and more.
I bring evidenced-based modalities (CBT, Brief Solution-focused, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Focused CBT, etc), cross-cultural experiences, and spiritual integration to my practice. I'm certified to offer CES and Art in for suitable clients. When appropriate, I promote better understanding of spiritual beliefs as resources for healing and growth.
