Hi, my name is Hehn (they/them), and I am an Associate Clinical Social Worker at Dr. McCurdy-McKinnon & Associates: Eating Disorders & Wellness Clinic. I draw on my own experiences as a non-binary person living in this world to support, validate, and understand the issues that other trans and non-binary folx are facing. I join with motivated and engaged individuals to help them better understand how their past influences their present, and how dysphoria and other experiences present in relationship to body and self. Together, we will work towards finding the answers and solutions that exist on the other side of life struggles.
I utilize Emotionally Focused Therapy, Crisis Intervention Theory, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy when supporting clients. I trust that the clients ultimately have the answers within themselves, and will guide clients in better understanding their own emotions and the impact they have on the relationships in their life.
I believe all individuals deserve to have a safe and compassionate environment and attempts to create that space when working with clients. I am looking forward to meeting you and starting this therapeutic journey together.

Groups
Virtual Eating Disorders Process Group
This is a process-oriented eating disorder recovery support group, offered weekly and open to the public. It provides therapeutic support for patients navigating recovery or interested in recovery, as well as peer support in vivo. We meet weekly on Tuesday evenings via telehealth. This group is co-facilitated by Kristen Tritt, LCSW and Hehn Dimand, ACSW. Participants are encouraged to bring their struggles, their stressors, and their whole self into this space as we work through recovery in the outside world. **Sliding scale available**
