Hi, I’m a husband and father, my work as a therapist is deeply shaped by both my family life and my upbringing as the son of Salvadoran immigrants. I specialize in supporting men—especially new fathers—who are navigating challenges like depression, grief, and trauma. I've been in the field since 2015.
I know firsthand how stigma can make it difficult for men to seek help, because I’ve seen it in my own culture and even experienced it myself when I first began therapy. That’s why I’m committed about creating a space where men feel understood, respected, and not judged. I’m based in Texas, and licensed in TX, FL, VA, UT, CT, & NJ.
Given mental health stigma, empathy is key to building a therapeutic relationship. Thats why I use a Solution-Focused approach, this approach allows us to discover what your desired outcome is in treatment. From there we can explore the pathways to achieve that change. The path forward isn't linear, even so together we can explore the best way forward.
Remember, where you’re coming from in this journey doesn't matter as much as where you’re going. There’s a quote that says, ”I am not what has happened to me, I am who I choose to become”.
