I offer online video sessions as well as in-person psychotherapy sessions. I offer heart and science-based psychotherapy to growth-oriented individuals interested in deepening their capacity for resilience, coping with life’s challenges, care, connection, and meaning. Sessions are offered in person, or online via video chat. Counseling and coaching services are all informed by evidence-based psychotherapy perspectives, emphasizing primarily Compassion-Focused Therapy and related perspectives. Furthermore, I also offer psychotherapy in Hebrew.
In our shared work we will draw from perspectives on evolutionary psychology, compassion and mindfulness practices, cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative psychology, and attachment theory, with a somatic awareness focus. Healing, growth, flourishing and strengthening of relationships with oneself and others are the emergent properties of this type of work.
Working together will offer you opportunities to explore your domains of growth, challenge and suffering, as well as find effective ways to address these points of difficulty. Emphasis is placed on coherent meaning-making around a personal sense of purpose. Clients receive help in cultivating compassion for self and others, to support their life journey.
