I am a licensed clinical social worker with a decade of experience in providing therapy for individuals and couples. I seek to create a space that is safe, non-judgemental and authentic, and am present with you as a helper in your process of healing and change. My scope of work includes relationship issues, challenges with emotional and physical intimacy, anxious cycles of thinking, feeling disconnected from one's self or others, feelings of ‘stuckness’ and/or difficulty in life transitions. In therapy we will practice tuning into your feelings, thoughts and beliefs that can help guide you.

Therapy is a collaborative process. I help my clients clarify their goals, and together we identify and explore conscious and unconscious obstacles that keep them frustrated. I utilize insight, cognitive behavioral strategies and techniques based in Somatic Experiencing to help clients work through their difficulties.

Equipped to help her clients take on the many challenges they face, Madelaine Ellberger provides a judgment free, safe space for her clients to work on their goals together. Drawing from a variety of evidenced-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Maddy Ellberger specializes in the treatment of adults and families struggling with a wide range of challenges including anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, interpersonal difficulties, life transitions, and stress management.
