Therapy should be a place where you feel safe, heard, and validated. I like to gain an understanding of all aspects of a client’s life to better help them through their therapeutic journey. I incorporate Child-Centered Play Therapy, Theraplay techniques, relaxation techniques, mindfulness techniques, emotion regulation skills, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and other modalities based upon the needs of the client.
I believe that early intervention is key in helping children and adolescents. I also believe in creating a safe, warm environment for all clients in which they feel heard. Instilling safety and trust with clients is very important within the therapeutic process.
I enjoy helping clients with trauma, adjustment issues, attachment concerns, depression, anxiety, behavioral concerns, low self-esteem, and relationship difficulties.
