I enjoy working with clients to gain insight into the challenges they face and to develop a plan to overcome them. Because everyone comes to therapy with unique issues and values, I use an individualized approach to meet your specific needs, incorporating research-based techniques that draw from mindfulness-based therapies, cognitive behavioral therapy, interpersonal therapy, and motivational interviewing. Providing compassion, support, and feedback, I create a safe and caring environment that promotes growth, healing, and empowerment. I enjoy helping clients discover their existing strengths, find hope for the future, and overcome difficulties to achieve their goals.
I have extensive experience providing gender-specific counseling services to women for issues including depression, anxiety, substance abuse, ADHD, domestic violence, relationships, parenting, anger, grief, and sexual orientation issues. I have also completed specialized training in the treatment of substance use disorders and postpartum mood and anxiety disorders.
