I offer support from a client-centered perspective that includes positive affirmations, heavy emphasis on self-compassion, challenging of unhealthy thoughts, and building upon skills to allow you to live your best life.
I have extensive training to promote trauma resolution through Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Ego-State Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT) and Level One Internal Family Systems (IFS) trainings. I am also certified through Postpartum Support International (PSI) as a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Counselor (PMH-C).
I work often with the perinatal population- with single parents, pregnancy struggles, postpartum depression/anxiety, pregnancy loss, stillbirth, fertility struggles, and parents who desire to 'Gentle Parent' both themselves and their children.
I am also a Clinical Supervisor and offer licensure supervision to pre-licensed therapists in Tennessee.
