About
I believe that each person has a unique story that has been their life and that healing begins by telling and understanding those stories. I believe part of my role as a therapist is to walk side by side in collaboration on this journey. I focus on your strengths and help you find and manifest who you are meant to be through your challenges. I offer a safe, non-judgmental environment to be able to process experiences and events that may be interfering with life, and learn to problem solve and practice tools to cope when triggers arise in an unbiased place.
I have 20+ years experience working with children, adolescents and adults in various capacities. I utilize Narrative theory, CBT, DBT and Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy. I specialize in Trauma, Childhood and Adult Abuse, Grief/Loss, Depression, LGBTQ++ issues, Anxiety/Panic and Co-Parenting and adults and children diagnosed with Autism.
I feel that counseling is a collaborative process. I understand no two individuals are the same and our sessions together will address your life and the changes you want to see. We will work to understand your unique story and help you get closer to the life you’ve always wanted.
