Groups
Emotions Education 101- 8 sessions
The group can best be described as a gentle learning experience to understand your emotions and defenses and help you work the Change Triangle to find your calmest, most authentic self. Connecting and sharing with others about emotions helps normalize emotions and decreases aloneness. This group is designed for people who are working through their own struggles with anxiety and depression, as well as for people who are supporting others on their journeys. In this group, you will learn to better understand and work with emotions - not changing emotions, but having a different experience with them.

AEDP based Processing Groups Friday 12-1pm EST
Each session begins with a meditation and includes spaces for everyone to check in and talk about something that is going on for them or what came up during the meditation. I guide the group discussion to help recognize defenses and inhibitory emotions that interfere with one's ability to experience the core emotion(s) occurring and then move through those emotions into a more open hearted place. We focus on ourselves and our own experiences with emotions, are supportive of each other, but we do not give advice to each other, we speak from our own truth.
