Most of the time, these feelings stem from cognitions (thoughts) that lead us down an emotional spiral where we feel out of control and lost. If you want to gain a better understanding of yourself, your trauma history, and how early imprinting may connect to interpersonal or internal conflict, you may find therapy to be a life-giving, healing and liberating experience.
As a licensed therapist and certified clinical trauma specialist, I have served in a variety of capacities from working with youth in crisis, teens impacted by abuse and trauma, family conflict, runaway homeless youth, substance misuse, transitional aged young adults, adults of all ages, to older adults and their families in hospice care near end of life.
