Seeking support through counseling is a way to move toward health and wellness. Heather provides a supportive, accepting space to explore and develop strategies to let go of what is no longer serving you and to build on what does. Through creative exploration and problem solving we develop an engaging and collaborative relationship finding relief as well as strategies to improve the quality and experience of life. Art Therapy focuses on activating inner strengths and abilities through the creative process. Heather works with children, teens and adults on issues related to depression, anxiety, trauma, life challenges and changes.
With an Art Therapist, art making often clarifies and illuminates our path in simple but profound ways. From choosing materials to completing an image, many decisions are made and transformation is accessed. Participants may use markers, paint, pastels to create and heal. All supplies are included and guidance is provided.
In life, we experience many ups and downs and in between, I'm here to support you and help to create the changes you seek. Through talking, art making, mind-body awareness and relational skills, we can create a path to success together. Taking the time to dig in and create change impacts tomorrow in positive ways, I'm grateful to share the road with you.
