I have over 10 years of experience as a mental health therapist and have worked in community mental health, substance use therapy, and corrections. I specialize in helping people heal from stress and trauma and all the ways it can show up as anxiety, depression, chronic pain, grief, addiction, perfectionism, relationship issues, and post traumatic stress.
I am a certified EMDR therapist, which is a type of therapy to help heal past trauma. I also use Internal Family Systems, CBT, DBT, mindfulness and compassion approaches in therapy. My clients would describe me as warm, empathic and genuine. They often say that I am both easy to talk to and helpful with coming up with specific strategies they can use.
I find it an absolute privilege to get to know each client’s story and find strategies to help them live a more authentic, peaceful, and joy-filled life. I am LGTBQIA+ affirming.
