I approach treatment as a collaboration between two partners, working together to deepen our understanding of your concerns, and construct alternative ways of thinking, being, relating and feeling. As a relational psychodynamic therapist, I consider our relationship an essential mechanism of change.
My belief is that all people develop particular ways of managing stress, relating to others, and viewing and understanding themselves in the world. I work with a broad range of adolescent and adult clients. However, I am a trauma informed provider with particular interest in working with folks whose early life experiences interfere with current day functioning. I treat many college and graduate students as well as human service professionals and beginning therapists.
