Hello. I am Heather Martin, a licensed mental health therapist in Indiana. My passion is helping individuals recover from the past and reach their true potential. We all have had tough experiences, but they do not need to define us or our future. I've encountered a wide range of people and handled a wide range of disorders and concerns. My expertise is in depression, anxiety, and trauma. I also work with life transitions, relationship concerns, self-harm, identity difficulties, crises, grief, and self-esteem. I also have experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community.
Therapy goals are created using a collaborative approach, where we create goals together, ensuring they align with your unique needs, values, and aspirations. I work closely with each person to identify meaningful and realistic objectives that promote growth and transformation.
A first session will be more structured than a usual session, in which I will ask specific questions I ask everyone to gain an understanding about your situation and history. I aim to create a safe space where you are heard.
