Hi, I’m Heather Rivera, a military veteran and Licensed Clinical Social Worker. After earning my social worker degree from the University of South Florida, I started working with veterans facing trauma and brain injuries, drawing from my own military experience. Over time, I expanded my focus to helping children navigate mental health challenges and daily stressors, offering compassionate support to those in need.
I use a mix of CBT, DBT, art therapy, play therapy, and person-centered approaches. Therapy is personalized to fit your unique needs. My goal is to help you understand yourself, cope with challenges, and create a path toward healing, growth, and resilience.
Asking for help can be tough—whether you're a veteran, service member, first responder, or family member. You don’t have to face it alone. I offer in-person and Telehealth sessions to support you. Ready to start your healing journey? Contact Ellie Mental Health - Brandon to schedule.
