Hello, I'm Heather. I enjoy working with people from a variety of backgrounds whom have different needs. I often work with individuals and families with complex concerns ranging from learning about yourself to addressing the challenges that hinder you from being able to live the life you desire. Trauma and attachment are common concerns that I see that impact many areas of life. Sometimes the hurts are recent; sometimes they happened long ago; sometimes they are still happening. I utilize a variety of theories and models specifically tailored to the person/family.
I am committed to helping people to find and/or build their own strengths through a collaborative, relational approach. No person needs to go through things alone or get stuck in the hurts of life. We'll explore the relationships in your life that support you or create challenges.
Building a trusting and safe therapeutic space to feel able to be vulnerable and authentic in your experiences without shaming or judgement is extremely important. I am passionate about supporting you on your journey through life and the challenges that get thrown your way. I am an AAMFT, Minnesota MFT Board and BBHT Approved Supervisor.
