Hi, I'm glad you have sought out help. I know that picking a provider can be a difficult process. I have been working as a counselor for the past 8 years. My primary focus is in mental health disorders and substance abuse. I currently hold a Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling and am in the process of obtaining a PhD in Psychology.
All of the education in the world though can't compare to the education I've gained from working with clients and learning about their lives. My goal in counseling is to allow my clients to thrive. No two people are the same and I would never expect to treat them as the same. You are the expert in your life, I only offer a different perspective.
