Talking through challenges and working toward a new outlook is what I truly enjoy. I specialize in helping individuals recover from diminished self-worth, complex trauma, ADHD, anxiety disorders, dysfunctional relationship dynamics and other conditions. It's my philosophy that whatever affects our emotional health (depression, anxiety, trauma) will affect our physical well-being (appetite, sleep, weight) and as desired we explore lifestyle and whole health.
For the past decade Dr. Hamilton has developed and presented the nationally accredited CE and patient Breakthrough! programs for Mental and Metabolic Health Recovery. She serves as Chair for the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine Mental Health Group, as well as an expert advisor with regard to brain and body health for the American Counseling Association.
