I specialize in working with adolescents, young adults and adult trauma.
I am an emotionally-focused therapist with 20 years of experience in mental health and addictions and I have a passion for providing trauma-focused healing (mind-body awareness, DBT skills, somatic therapy, EMDR, hypnosis and energy work).
While modalities are valuable my aim is to help you feel safe, informed and empowered so that you can choose what works best for you.
I come to the healing process as a student-teacher - working the skills and engaging in personal growth and change myself. I bring that experience and seek to support you through the use of education, skills and interventions to help you develop mastery over your thoughts, emotions, routines and relationships for an improved sense of wellbeing.
I provide individual, group and family, as well as coaching for loved ones. I take a collaborative approach, engaging empathy, commitment, self-expression and when appropriate, even fun.
