My name is Heather and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts. I specialize in working with adolescents, teens, and young adults who need a space to ask questions and receive support on topics or situations they may not feel comfortable bringing somewhere else. Before becoming a remote therapist I worked as a school-based clinician for 9 years.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own life. My job is to help you access the clarity, courage, and tools you already have within you.
I draw on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused techniques, and Humanistic principles — which means our work together will be practical and deeply human. We'll look at the patterns that keep you stuck, build concrete skills to shift them, and do it all in a space where you feel genuinely seen and heard.
My clients often describe feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or looking to learn new ways of handling what life throws at them. Some are in crisis; others are high-functioning on the outside but quietly struggling.
