My name is Heather Gold, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based out of Redding, California, and working with clients statewide via teletherapy. I work with adults and specialize in hoarding, anxiety, depression, and life transitions, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Grief/Loss Support. My approach to therapy is based on one of collaboration for I see each client as having their own expertise that I help.
My approach and style are a good fit for adults who are dealing with the challenges of life transitions and stressors related to organizing and readjusting lifestyles. This often takes the form of depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other behavioral health issues.
I know that changes and events can cause stagnation and clutter, but that doesn't mean these have to consume a person, which can lead to stress. I provide the motivation and guidance to help people organize for a better quality of life.
