Welcome! I'm glad you're here. I'm Dr. Darby - a post-doctoral psychologist specializing in disordered eating, anxiety, and gender-affirming care. I also commonly treat and assess for ADHD, depression, and trauma, and work with clients through life transitions such as the shift into young adulthood, and the adjustments of early parenthood. With a background in both Clinical and School Psychology, I offer individual therapy to young adolescents (age 12 and up) through adults. I additionally offer group therapy, with a virtual body image group beginning July 2026.
Treatment will begin with building trust & outlining the challenges you are experiencing. You will serve as the expert on yourself & your experiences, while I will guide, support, & offer evidence-based interventions based on your needs & identified goals. The type of therapy used will be determined together, based on your needs & the current evidence base.
Change can bring about so much anxiety and fear. You don't need to do it alone. If you feel we may be a fit for working together to reach your goals, or you have questions about how that may look, feel free to send me an email or reach out by phone.
