I specialize in working with clients who are struggling to adapt to a medical illness or life change. My focus is on helping you maintain a sense of well-being and normalcy in the face of unique and often distressing circumstances. Treatment can include addressing grief and loss, symptoms of depression and anxiety and existential questions such as "why me?" I work with patients with a variety of health issues including: cancer, infertility, cardiac disease and women's health, including postpartum depression. Through my focus on women's health I also help mom's adjust to ups and downs of parenting.
Through holistic support and treatment my client's achieve mental and emotional health and well-being. Few of my patients have seen a therapist before but they find the support and skills they gain from treatment beneficial in helping them to manage the stressors of their illness or life changes.
At the same time, I also work with clients who are struggling with depression, anxiety and relationship issues and the impact they have on their everyday lives. No one should have to face these issues alone, and everyone can achieve a happier, more content and more satisfying life with treatment.

Groups
Coping with Infertility
A 4 week series focusing on the emotions experienced throughout the infertility journey, as well as effective communication and relationships with others. Each session will include an opportunity for you to share your own experiences, followed by education and skill-building so you feel better able to manage the stressors that arise in the diagnosis and treatment process. We will close with a period of relaxation, which has been shown to positively impact fertility. People at any stage of their fertility process are welcome to join and can benefit, from those just starting out, to those well on their way.
