About
I am a licensed clinical social worker in California with 7 years experience working as a medical social worker. I have experience working with HIV positive LGBTQ population, sex workers, victims of sex trafficking and clients with a range of concerns including depression, anxiety, adjustment disorder, and sexual abuse. I also enjoy working with young adults that are focused on healing past traumas and are on a journey to grow self love, and a positive self-image.
I am a person centered counselor with a warm, interactive, and supportive style. I strive to create a space where my clients feel safe and respected and are able to experience therapy as positive and helpful. My approach is solution focused and strengths based while utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic theory, and mindfulness.
